A detour from the Annapurna Circuit trek to Tilicho Lake, the highest freshwater lake in the world, is possible. This less-visited area may require some logistical preparation, including provisions and tents. The exit can be made through the Mesokanto La Pass, or trekkers can retrace their steps to Yak Kharka to continue towards Thorung La Pass.
