T- Help Nepal is a non-political, non-governmental, and non-profit organization registered in Kathmandu in 2008. The main objective and activities of T-Help Nepal have been creating awareness and training the rural communities on ecology, biodiversity, and climate change. Our work with environmentally friendly technologies has created a positive change.  In the past, rural communities were provided with firsthand knowledge of organic farming techniques and conducted practical training in sustainable eco-tourism practices in the Himalayas

In the past, visiting international students, as well as other visitors during their Nepal trekking, have participated in the T-HELP's initiatives, which offered a unique opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge in sustainable eco-tourism and organic agriculture practices.  Using environmentally friendly technologies, students and villagers have worked together actively participating in community projects, applying their academic knowledge in real-world contexts. As they collaborate with marginalized communities in rural Nepal, they also learn about innovative livelihood solutions.

T-HELP Nepal envisions a future where marginalized and underprivileged women and families in Himalayan villages thrive through sustainable practices. International students and visitors are invited to join this vision — not just as observers, but as active participants who may learn or bring fresh perspectives, intercultural collaboration, and innovative ideas to empower women in their activities of tourism and farming.

The focus of T-Help has been on communities from indigenous, marginalized, and disadvantaged rural regions of Nepal. For international students and visitors, T-HELP creates a platform for cross-cultural exchange where students and visitors alike can:

  • Learn or demonstrate skills in sustainable business, agriculture, and eco-tourism.
  • Participate in projects that directly impact climate change
  • Learn from local women and professionals who are pioneering environmentally sustainable livelihoods.
  • Build global networks that connect social entrepreneurship with academic and professional growth.
