Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Free day and Make Special trekking permit
Day 03: Drive to Arughat (640 m.). Drive to Soti Khola by jeep. Soti Khola (775 m.) 6-7 hrs drive & 1 ½ hr drive.
Day 04: Trek to Machhi Khola (900 m.) 6 – 7 hrs walk
Day 05: Trek to Jagat (1340 m.) 6 – 7 hrs walk
Day 06: Trek to Deng (1860 m) 7- 8 hrs walk
Day 07: Trek to Namrug (2660 m.) 6- 7 hrs walk
Day 08: Trek to Syala (3500 m) Or Sama (3520 m.) 6- 7 hrs walk
Day 09: An acclimatization and explore day Syala (3500 m) Or Sama (3520 m.) 5 – 6 hrs walk
Day 10: Trek to Samdo (3880 m.) 4-5 hrs walk
Day 11: Trek to Dharmshala (4480 m.) 4-5 hrs walk
Day 12: Cross Larkyala (5213 m.) and trek to Bimtang ( 3590 m) 8- 9 hrs walk
Day 13: Trek to Dharapani (1990 m) 7- 8 hrs walk
Day 14: Drive back to Kathmandu Hotel Manang 10-11 hrs drive
Day 15: Departure transfer from hotel
Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Arughat (640 m.) & Soti Khola (775 m.)
Today is around seven hours drive. Four hours of the drive is along comfortable highway while the rest of the four hour drive is on a rough road.
The first day of trek starts along the Budhi Gandaki River toward its point of origin. We pass the village of Morder and Simre to reach Arkhet River. Camp or Tea house near the confluence of the Soti River.
Day 02: Trek from Soti to Machhi Khola (900 m.)
The trail passes through a sal forest, rocky mountains and Magar and Gurung villages. The trail follows down the sandy river bed of Budhi Gandaki river.
Day 03: Trek from Machhi Khola to Jagat (1340 m.)
After crossing Machhi River and Khrolabesi, there is a hot spring called “Tatopani”. The trail follows forested area and Dovan river’s rapids and waterfall. After Dovan, there is an hour and half ascent and two hours straight walk before reaching camp or tea house.
Day 04: Trek from Jagat to Deng (1860 m)
It will take around 7 hours of trekking from Jagat to the tiny Deng village made up of just about 4 houses. From Jagat, we make a descent towards the river through stone steps and then ascent up a terraced hillside stopping at Saguleri to catch the exotic view of the Sringi Himal (7187m). Then, after a few more crossings over the river, whenever the path becomes too steep, we ultimately climb up to Deng. Overnight at Camp or tea house.
Day 05: Trek from Deng to Namru (2660m)
You will walk around 6 to 7 hours of zigzag road before reaching before reaching camp at Namru, which is a Sherpa village. After crossing the Budhi Gandaki gorge there are pine forest. You will experience rhododendron forests. Overnight at Camp or Tea house.
Day 06: Trek from Namru to Syala (3500 m.) Or Sama Gaun (3520 m.)
This is around seven hours of relatively straight walk and about half hour of uphill walk before reaching Syala, which is another Sherpa village. You can see Mt. Manaslu (8163 m), Simang Himal towards the west and Kuntang Himal and Saula Himal (6238 m) towards the east. Overnight at Camp or Tea house.
Day 07: Acclimatization day at Syala (3500 m.) Or Sama Gaun (3520 m.)
Today is a rest day at Syala. You can hike upto Pungen glacier it will take around 5 to 6 hours. Otherwise you can just relax your legs and prepare for the next day.
Day 08: Trek from Sayla to Samdo (3880 m.)
The trail heads north and separates from the trail heading to the base camp. We pass several Buddhists shrines and mani or prayer walls then reach the pasture of Kermo khaka. Samdo is another Tibetan village offering views of Simang Himal, Samdo peak, Himalchuli and Peak 29. Overnight at Camp or Tea house.
Day 09: Trek from Samdo to Dharamshala (4480 m.)
This is around 4-5 hours of uphill walk. The walk continues with mountain views and through barren steppes. Dharmshala is the high camp before the Larkya La pass (5213 m). Overnight at Camp or Tea house.
Day 10: Trek from Dharmashala to Bimtang (3590 m.)
This is the most difficult day of the trek that involves crossing a very long Larkya La Pass (5213 m). The day starts at around 3:30am and trek starts immediately after breakfast. Around 750 m ascent of around 5-6 hours and upon reaching the pass you will have packed lunch. Then there is a descent of around 1300 m for 4-5 hours till Bimtang. The pass offers spectacular views of several mountains. Overnight at Camp or Tea house.
Day 11: Trek from Bhimtang to Dharapani (1990 m.)
Today is a combination of steep and gradual descent for around 7 -8 hours through bamboo, pine and rhododendron forests. Overnight at Camp or Tea house.
Day 12: Drive from Dharapani to Kathmandu (10 – 11 hrs drive)
From Dharapani we will take local/ reserved jeep to Bensisahar and in Bensisahar our reserved vehicle is waiting to you people for rest drive to Kathmandu. Total 10-11 hours drive. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
