Chisopani – Jhule – Nagarkot Trek

Chisopani – Jhule – Nagarkot Trek

Overview

Chisopani – Jhule – Nagarkot Trek is a relatively easy trek that offers rich insight into the lives, history, culture, and religion of the Newar people.

The valley rim lies at elevations between 1800 m and 2800 m. In autumn and winter there are wonderful mountains vistas, which, from certain viewpoints, stretch from Everest to Annapurna.

Nagarkot offers spectacular mountain views as well as a panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley. This is one of the best spots around Kathmandu Valley to view the Mt. Everest mountain range of eastern Nepal, the Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and Jugal Himal ranges of northern Nepal, and a bird’s eye view of Kathmandu Valley to the south.
